EVELINO ELEKTRO – Bathroom radiators in accordance with the new EU "ENERGY-EFFICIENCY" directive

We have sold more than 500,000 units of our best-selling EVELINO bathroom radiator to date. Now we are fulfilling our customers’ wishes for an electric version. Our EVELINO EB complies with the Ecodesign Directive ErP and thus with Regulation (EU) 2015/1188. We use an ERP heating cartridge that is certified together with the radiator. The ErP directive aims to save energy and other resources in the manufacture, operation and
disposal of energy-related products. An electric bathroom radiator also saves energy costs. The heat is produced directly in the bathroom via the power connection and not via the hot water-powered heating system in the basement. This protects against heat loss and saves costs, as the hot water does not have to be transported from the cellar to the bathroom via pipes (which may not be insulated) and cool down in the process. Product Manager Andre Lather: “The trend is increasingly moving towards electric radiators as an additional heat source. Especially in the current energy crisis, it is important to be conscious about heating. The electric EVELINO EB helps here as an additional heat source that can be used temporarily without the central heating system generally having to be set to a higher temperature.

Bathroom and design radiator expertise

We have been selling radiators in Europe for more than 40 years. It all started with the classic “tubular bathroom radiator” model, which was later supplemented by a curved version. Today, the bathroom is much more important and visual aspects play a much greater role. We have therefore expanded our range to include designer radiators that match the design of the sanitary ceramics and bathroom furniture. In the designer radiator range, we concentrate on the designs that achieve high unit sales on the market (bestsellers). Current bestsellers include our Asperto and Trentino models. We will also be offering these as electric versions in the future.
