Flanges for easy and flexible installation
High quality and reliable flanges are required for a wide range of installations. Here in the shop you will find a wide range of models from leading brand manufacturers. Flanges of suitable design and size are available for sealing, closing and connecting pipes, housings or machine parts. You will also find the matching screws and nuts. All flanges convince with high material and manufacturing quality. The parts made of corrosion-free carbon compounds can be easily replaced non-destructively as connecting elements. The flange models not only position and fix components and lines, but also transfer operating forces.Almost everyone knows the components of water pipes and heating pipes from their own household. In the following you will learn more about the properties and applications of modern flanges.
Flanges as versatile connecting elements
In addition to the classic application area of installation and pipe technology, flanges also play an important role in mechanical engineering. There they connect gear parts and bearings. Flanges are often used as bearing caps to fix bearings in their housings or on shafts. They can be used to tightly connect pipe sections and air ducts so that the safe passage of liquids and gases is guaranteed. However, the flanges remain detachable at any time. The flange models are fixed with bolts and nuts, which can be inserted into prefabricated holes in the flange blades. Size and number of holes vary according to model and application. The screw connection also generates the necessary contact pressure, which is important for the tightness of the connection. Modern flanges for installations and pipelines are certified according to EN 1092-1, EN 1092-2,EN 1092-3 and EN 1092-4. They are made from the following materials:
- Steel
- Cast iron
- copper aloys
- Aluminium
