Une bille perc\u00e9e se trouve \u00e0 l&#8217;int\u00e9rieur du robinet et d\u00e8s que le trou de la bille rencontre la conduite d&#8217;eau, l&#8217;eau s&#8217;\u00e9chappe ou l&#8217;installation peut \u00eatre remplie. Une rotation de quatre-vingt-dix degr\u00e9s suffit \u00e0 refermer le bouchon de remplissage. L&#8217;op\u00e9ration peut \u00eatre r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e dans n&#8217;importe quel sens.   <\/p>\n<p>La plupart des robinets \u00e0 tournant sph\u00e9rique sont actionn\u00e9s par une cl\u00e9 carr\u00e9e ou poss\u00e8dent leur propre dispositif de fermeture et d&#8217;ouverture. Les robinets \u00e0 tournant sph\u00e9rique sont \u00e9galement souvent install\u00e9s sur un mur de maison pour l&#8217;arrosage du jardin. Si vous n&#8217;avez pas la cl\u00e9 carr\u00e9e ou la pince appropri\u00e9e, vous ne pouvez pas ouvrir ce robinet au hasard, contrairement aux robinets classiques \u00e0 fermeture
