After the Second World War, the company founder Hermann Schmidt settled in Essen and initially set up a factory agency for products in the sanitary and heating sector. In 1961, the company also developed its own business for pipe connection parts, and later also for fittings under the HS brand.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of 2010, the company has been developing into the manufacturer of its most important products. At the Berlin Technical Center, our engineers develop new products, create technical drawings, take care of prototype construction and obtaining the necessary certifications, and finally monitor series production. Around 5,000 items are stored on an area of approx. 18,000 square meters.
